Description

Training workshop for VSO Nigeria partners and volunteers, equipping participants with a rich palette of participatory techniques (Theatre for Development, Participatory Video, Participatory Learning and Action) to engage community members in developing/ performing dramas and facilitating collective analysis and action planning.

Key Results

Participants unanimously were impressed and inspired by the ability of the learned techniques to promote stakeholder participation.

Most trainees have started sharing and applying the learned techniques their own organisations (TFD Inventory, October 2007)

Various partners have committed to developing and implementing follow-up projects/ proposals together with TFDC
