Description
Training workshop for leaders and representatives of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) on the use of participatory methods (especially Participatory Learning and Action) to discover and analyze their own potentials, to network among themselves, and to plug into democratic processes in the state.

Key Results

Participants acquired a range of PLA techniques enabling them to engage in grassroots level needs analysis and priority setting

The workshop established a frank and fruitful interaction between women and men, which is remarkable given the prevailing Shari’a environment

Issues of marginaliszation and the need for societal participation were analyszed jointly by Muslims and Christians without the common stereotyping/ blackmailing.
